Ampoules, essences, serums... What exactly are they and what is the difference between them? These three terms are often thrown about and used interchangeably, and in certain cases they are, in fact, very similar. They essentially serve the same purpose, to treat and hydrate the skin, with higher levels of active ingredients than other skincare products.
There are certain cases, however, where a serum is specifically formulated to treat a certain skin issue, such as our Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum, which is formulated to target dark spots and brighten the skin's overall complexion. Then there are serums like retinol serum, which is much more potent with active ingredients and fights signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles, and because of the potency, probably should not be used every day.
